I am Perrie Johnson, a newly elected member of the Fluvanna County School Board.  I taught in Fluvanna schools for 25 years before retiring and running for School Board.  On behalf of the Fluvanna Education Association, I attended School Board meetings for the past 5 years and concluded that almost no one has time to come to the meetings, but almost everyone cares.  My purpose for Fluco Blog is to bridge the gap between reading the outcome of School Board decisions after the fact, and learning about the reasoning behind each decision before it’s final.
